tannins are quite strong. ok balance and fruit goes on for well over a minute and a half. Dark cherry, cassis, new leather. good but not great. perhaps it will be more interesting in 5 years.

Special bottling from the winery to get more money from you (I am sure much higher mark-up). Dark burgundy almost purple in color, smell of black berry, oak, nuts, spice, full body with fine tannin with long and smooth finish. A balanced and elegant CA Cab.
