2007. Someone brought this to our friend’s wine party, but they did not open it, and when I tried opening it for the host, the cork crumbled. They found a pitcher and a wire mesh strainer to decant into... the wine was reddish-purple and full of life.

2007 Oakville. Fruit at the start. More medium in the body than I expected. Nice fruit and good lingering finish.

1+ hr decant. Dark purple color. Cherry, oak, and licorice on the nose. You can feel the high OH on the palate. Average flavor but thick wine. Typical Napa Cab. Nice finish.
