Reserve Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon

This performed far beyond my expectation. Cedar and cherry tobacco with silky tannins.

Drinking great already and will only get better

Balanced well-made Cabs, including the standard Oakville release

Blackberry, cassis, licorice, eucalyptus, loamy earth and oak. Great structure and moderate tannins.

2012 Groth Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Well balanced and inviting. Black fruits, blackberry, leather, smoke, well integrated tannins, everything you love in a Napa cabernet. This wine is great, not exceptional. Long finish that invites you back for more. My impression is mid term aging as opposed to long term.

Big and juicy, as expected. A bit hot. Not my style but the table liked it.
