Josh Phelps - sone of Joseph has done it!!! For 65 bucks you can get a high end caliber wine that is as good if not better than any 100 dollar California cab I have ever had. This is his 2015 Steady State red wine. Bouquet is rhubarb pie and soft purple violets. The beginning is dark fruits and berries followed by a mellow vanilla and chocolate mid palate. The finish comes very slow and delivers an Earthy tone with a mildly dry Finish. I am also drinking the Collusion 2016 blend from Washington and it is better for a fraction of the price - 22 bucks!!!!! Steady State rocks. But for the price, try the Collusion!!!!!!

Steady State is very dark and smells that way. Black berries, currant, anise and a trace of tar on the nose paint it, black. The palate is fruity, but serious, with a savory stripe cutting through the middle just barely on the tart side. Acidity is bright and the tannins are moderate, so it's drinkable as well as pairable.
