This is getting better each year. Great blend of merlot and cab franc, it has black berries, cherries, violettes and crushed roses, in a medium bodied and very balanced wrap. No excess maturity nor excess alcohol, all done to perfection. Still requires a few years, maybe 3 to 4, but hard to resist now. Top notch stuff and goes for such low prices if you can find them. 2018 is now called Les Perrières de Lafleur and goes for 99 bucks. Plays in the big league !!!

Jul 25th, 2021The Guinaudeau family has started this wine few years ago. Young vines that came from Chateau Lafleur. As a matter of fact in 2018 its called “Les Perrerieres de Lafleur”. Great blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Dark rubi robe, dark berries nose, very polished tannins on a medium length medium body wine with good acidity and support to the fruit concentration. Hold for 4 to 5 years. One of the best new wines we have tried in a while. Highly recommended !
