Gut Oggau
Joschuari Rot Blaufränkisch
From 80 year old Blaufrankisch vines in Austria. By the glass. Dusty red fruit aromas with touches of barnyard and pepper. Just medium bodied with with spicy red fruit on the palate and medium minus dry Tannins. A glass went well with Confit of Duck at Spring Restaurant in London where the chef is Australia’s Skye Gyngell. Highly recommended if you are near Somerset House near the Strand London.

Jul 31st, 2019Floral nose, clean & bright. Moderately structured & very approachable. Silky tannins add some grip/texture. Nice black tea/spicy note on the finish.

Mar 4th, 2018Really loved this. Mild cherry notes, goes down easy, can drink on its own but went well with charcuterie. Light in mouth feel but bold in flavor. Loved. 2014
