Purple rain. Almost like drinking a light blueberry sour juice. Clings to the tongue in a good way. Amazing

Deep purple ink. Sharp dark fruit on the nose, which turns to smoky menthol on the palate. All on line with other Blaufrankisch I’ve tried. Tannins engage at the end, which leaves a somewhat muted finish.

Dense for an Austrian red. Took time to show. Good stuff

Black pepper & brett.

So smooth and weird and absolutely delicious. Rich but light on the tongue. Last bottle of the night after many different bottles, and it was the most refreshing and exciting way to end.
