Decent fruity red accompanied with bolognese

Blackberry flavour, slightly musky smell? The label said to expect an aroma of violets & liquorice which I couldn't detect, but then I do have a slight cold. Smooth tannins. This apparently was 'best in show', but even after decanting for an hour I didn't get anything from it that excited me.
