Tastes similar except for a delightful pepper spice and fast flavorful finish. This would be amazing with grilled steak and chimichurri sauce.

Jan 8th, 2016Virtually no traditional Cabernet notes. A little spice. A little sweetness that I typically associate with cheap wine. Has a little Malbec thing going on which makes me believe I might be picking up some of that whole terroir concept. The only good thing is that this is helping me stick to my New Year's diet - no interest in a second glass.
