Medium ruby in color; black cherries, blackberries, and wood smoke on the nose; high acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like black plums, blackberry jam, wet gravel, and a hint of chocolate with a long finish.

Deep purple in color; cedar, dried figs, and black cherries on the nose; medium acidity; medium tannins; tastes like blackberry jam, a hint of chocolate, and wet gravel with a long peppery finish. Nellie says is fine. I like it, but there's a little too much oak. Still a really good wine.
