Whoa! Interesting blend. I am one of Hall's biggest fans. This cab/Syrah blend is absolutely unique. Smells like dirt covered berries. Surprisingly smooth berry medley but even a hint of leather, which is interesting for such a young wine. Definitely worthy of waiting another 5 years. Love the story behind this wine!

Beautiful aroma and good balance on the palate. There is a tart quality to the wine. Not the same complexity and richness of other Hall wines, but very enjoyable especially for the price point.
