Blueberry and tobacco on the nose. Extremely well balanced with blue fruits, pencil lead and black tea on the palate. Slightly vegetal finish with some heat from the firm tannins and milk chocolate notes. Not a fruit bomb but definitely new world style. Enjoyable and interesting.

Take a great earthy Stags Cab, add a flavor enhancement like MSG. This is what you get. All the subdued fruit pops to the foreground, under a lush jungle of spicy organics.

This was velvety and inky, with pepper and a lingering finish. It was great with steak and roasted vegetables.

Needed to breathe but opened up really well after about 15 minutes.

Allowed it to breath for 30 minutes and it really opened up. This is a great cab from stags leap district.
