Direct purchase from Hanzell library. Herbal with some crushed blackberry fruit, Asian spice and leather. Wish had opened two years ago.

1976: Impressive condition, was purchased at Hanzell TODAY from their library. Nose is redolent with baked plum and minerals. Very concentrated, if tasted blind, I would have said Rhone. Grilled meat, with Asian spice. Long chewy finish.

Honestly, that good. Sweet ripe fruit, black and red, earth, forest, Asian spice, moss, chocolate cake. Aromatically, slightly closed to start, but opening brilliantly with time. Kept getting better till it was gone.

Aged beautifully. Purchased directly from the Hanzell library 4 years ago. Surprisingly dark core considering its age, with it progressing to medium garnet and brown at the edge. clean nose with primary cherry, fig, prune, forest floor, and secondary of toasted wood, Caramel, and loads of tertiary aromas- leather, cigar box, anise. Perfectly balanced and long finish. Drink within the next 12 months.

1976: Great, nearly 40 years old. Great depth, chewy and very concentrated. This was purchased today. What a find.
