I think this is my last bottle, 🙁. It is showing very well. Still a deep, vibrant purple violet color. Nose offers fleshy black fruits, with just enough herbal/leafy/tobacco-cigar box to lend interest but not obscure the fruit. The texture is resolved and ample, medium+ body. Served w falafel and homemade sourdough, griddled flatbreads.

Just the right amount of tobacco leaf/herbal funk to match with Hatch green chili pork.

Overly grassy and herbaceous. Not much fruity notes left after seven years, probably should have drunk young. Tight tannin and acidic.

A bit alcoholic and a little firm. Coming back on day two is a revelation. Classically aromatic with currant leaf, firmly dry/sharp blackberry and noble tannins.

I may be biased, but this wine is fascinating. May be my new fave find. Reminds me of Harvest in Prosser; a mix of hop and concord aromas. Silky smooth.

Opaque purple. Aromas of currant and leafy tobacco. Just the style I prefer from cooler climate Chilean vineyards.

Cheap, no depth and 'gran reserva' label is utterly bs!

Wow. Complex & vibrant. Plum, blackcurrant, manchego/mature cheddar, green herbs, bell pepper, and long dry cacao finish. Well beyond its $10 price. Better if sat for 2+ hours after opening. The 2011 will taste better in 2018, it's a bit too high on tannins.
