Blocks 7 & 22 Napa Valley Zinfandel

I don’t often drink Zinfandel but when I do ...........

Sweet strawberry, herbs, tobacco and black pepper on the nose, can smell the high alcohol. Straight black pepper on the tongue, as well as cigar wrapper, almost overpowers the fruit. High quality and fun. If you are looking for a wine that screams Zin, this is it.

Excellent. Very enjoyable after a long day at the beach.

Strong whiff of alcohol upfront then super soft and plush on the palate. Cinnamon, pepper, Blackberry cobbler!

This is such an amazing zin. Not too jammy.

Luscious and mouth watering with the longest memory of mental simplicity.

I enjoyed my visit at Hendry's and purchased a few wines. After getting home, I opened this vintage. At first it was dry and the flavor was not like I remembered but after a few sips the flavor got better. I'm not sure if I would buy this vintage again but love others from Hendry's.

Bubbly Zinfandel fruit. Ripe and high alcohol.
