Bramble, vanilla, oak, and raspberry. Advise decanting for a minimum of an hour as the high (15.9%) alcohol and oak can easily override the lovely fruit within. This big boy is perfect for BBQ or ribs. 2010 vintage.

Great wine, served with duck breast. Fruit forward with a long finish. Tannins have softened with age.

Blind tasted with possible grape varietals being Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, and Merlot. Went with a 2012 Pinot (oops!).
