First time drinking a Sauvignon with so much age and oak. Very interesting wine, fermented in barrels from France's most historic oak tree (St. Etienne) which was 435 years old, from the forest of St. Palais. Very thankful to drink this wine with the legendary Camille Gauthier who cut the tree down in 1995, to make the oak barrels for aging.
