For what it is - an anonymous blended Portuguese red - it is amazing. Oh, did I mention bargain as well? $4.99 at Wine Cask as a wine of the month. ABV 13% Should have bought a case. It would still be a find at 5.99 or even 6.99! Light, bright, but with some tannic depth. No sweetness. Nice balance. Some nose and finish as well. If I knew my grapes, I would recognize them in here.

Burnt cherry fruit and a resounding lack of depth but also five bucks.
