Dark purple fruits, some mushroom style earth, a little stemmy. Nice for a simple dinner.

Good mid-week food wine.. Nice amphora red wine, fine tannin, good fruit, light earthy clay notes. Shawarma.

The amphora process gives this wine a very unique quality that is difficult to describe: funky, primitive (in a good way), and forceful. Aromas of greens and hot peppers. The taste brings forth that hot pepper with eucalyptus, earth, and blackberry. Remarkable.

I really like it! Simple, fresh, red berries, well balanced, not too acidic. This falls into the category of minimal intervention traditional produced wines that are currently my favorite. I'm not familiar with any of the grapes used. I'm interested in winemakers using ingenious traditional varieties that are lesser known. That is the case here.
