Gorgeous nose. Bittersweet cocoa, ripe red berry fruits, wild herbs, spice, leathery and it is deep and precise. Very polished yet not modern at all. Kind of like Allemand or Guiberteau. Palate has terrific acidity, freshness and vivid fruit. Great mouthfeel. Has structure and beautiful tannins. Needs 1 or 2 hours. It really comes into balance after two hours.

Wow. Great rustic fruit. A bit bandolly but lighter with a hint of green which may be the vintage. My favorite wine of his so far. Bought from Fass selections.
