This definitely resembles a pure Pinot Noir, with its own snark. Clear brick red. Striking nose of sundried tomatoes, savory herbs, sharp leather, and a touch of strawberry preserves. Soft fruit on the palate at first, then a sharp, raw, pointed tang, finishing with an entrancing bit of buttery velvety richness. Strange, I know, but very good. Smoky tomato sharpness takes the front seat, with strawberry jam bringing warmth and balance from the back. Tannins aren't prominent, but it finishes well dry, and they fold into that smooth rich finish. This really is good, and for $10 it's a wonder!

Didn't know what to expect from this wine.. But it is quite good. Soft, velvety with blackberry flavors.

Light body, color. Faint alcohol and fruit on nose, slight hints of pepper and rubber, cherry on nose. Taste is light body, slight tannin, dark dry soil. Enjoyable, easy drinking red
