May 16th, 2015Nose is of spicy oak. Has just enough fruit to balance the oak. Finish is chalky, I think American oak, and plum. Drinking this without food while we cook dinner. The best way to cook! Going to go great with food.

One of the best wines I have ever had. Beautiful nose, well balanced, full body, great finish. Too bad it's so expensive.

93. This was the best Syrah I have had from Rubicon/Inglenook. I think the 2010s were the first with the new blend. I notice the 2011s are drinking extremely young.
