Firm grippy tannins. Racy red almost purple. A nice full bodied Cali cab. Dark fruit and lots ( perhaps a tad too much ) oak ( French more than American I am guessing)

Maybe the name Rubicon, but this wine reminds me of a South African bottle. Big and fruity with a barrel taste of Kiri wood- like those made in SA. Liked it much.
