Solid Pinot for the price point. Sour cherry and slightly bitter red fruit. Not life changing or super memorable, but enjoyable and a better wine than many other Pinots at this price

Dec 24th, 2016Typical new world Pinot. Fruit forward, res fruit mostly, strawberries and raspberries. Tannins were full of finesse. The colour was bright red, and the wine was clear. Alcohol was a little high. Good length, no tertiary notes to speak of that would indicate an aging potential. Acidity was lower than in, say, Burgundy, but the finesse of the tannins made for a wine that was still elegant and balanced. I liked it! Also, the price point makes it desirable as well.
