Blackcurrant, black cherry, and plum with a generous portion of tertiary notes already coming through. Enjoyable wine but I feel it may have been looking a bit better a year or two ago — 8 years ago
One of my go-to cheap, light, fun wines. Won't win any awards but it's super approachable and has a punchy cherry and raspberry jam character, supported by a pleasant hint of tartness. Not a great deal of length as your expect from a wine of this style and price point - but it's always a safe choice when I'm not sure what to have — 8 years ago
Nice balance of red and black fruit, with a solid backbone of acidity, with soft but present tannin — 8 years ago
Last looked at this about 6 months ago. It's not quite as fresh and vibrant now so I suspect it's past it's peak. Still plenty to like though - heaps of brown lime and lemon, with a touch of pistachio and pear, with that signature aged Riesling 'kerosene' note. — 8 years ago
One of the better NV's I remember. Plenty of stewed apple, pear, lemon and toasty brioche supported by a great acid line. Keeps you coming back for more — 8 years ago
It has some harsh reviews but I quite like this wine. 80% Pinot pressed immediately off skins, fermented separately from the 20% Chardonnay which underwent battonage and malo. Peaches and strawberries with a dash of creamy vanilla. Plenty up front and has a decent length finish but I feel it loses its mid palate a bit. Would drink again, however the price is pretty steep — 8 years ago
Fresh and vibrant for a ten year old Chardonnay. Plenty of brown lime, lemon zest, peach and cashew with just a subtle hint of vanilla. Great acid gives this wine fantastic balance. Second time having this vintage and both times have been really impressed — 8 years ago

Takes a long time for the saline nose to blow off. A bit of VA in there also. That said, on the palate there's plenty of sour cherry, black plum and wet stone minerality. Tannins are surprisingly up front, yet not out of balance with the fruit. My advice is give it a soft decant, and it will reward you. At its price point it's worth the purchase — 8 years ago
