Beautiful southern Burgundy! You can tell the winemaker knows the secret to get the best wine from his terroir.

Beautiful and very very lovely! Crispy red fruit, toasty cardamom, nice acidic backbone and beaujolais-like soft tannins.

One of the best Bourgogne Rouge out there. Always brings me back to my Zuni days.

Lovely, elegant, slightly sun-kissed red fruit, modest but present structure, middleweight mouthfeel. Well-fruited with a touch of spice and earth. Better than an average Bourgogne Rouge to be certain.

Takes a long time for the saline nose to blow off. A bit of VA in there also. That said, on the palate there's plenty of sour cherry, black plum and wet stone minerality. Tannins are surprisingly up front, yet not out of balance with the fruit. My advice is give it a soft decant, and it will reward you. At its price point it's worth the purchase

Ripe, juicy, a bit basic but solid wine.
