An enjoyable vintage, even if it’s not a top vintage, it still portrays typical P-C. Always enjoyable. Drinking very well with just a short decant. — 5 months ago
2003 vintage. Decently respectable Pauillac nose. Solid color still. Wine open for three hours. Leanest body I've ever had with a P-L and lacking the complexity usually associated with this wine. Tight and not giving up much at the 3 hr mark. Nice but disappointing given the producer/vintage combo. Wish I'd had 6 hrs to wait hand and foot on this...perhaps it would have totally revealed the expected P-L charms by then. — 2 years ago

Very delicious Pinot, but was expecting a little more complexity. Wonderful pairing with salmon. — 2 years ago
This Rioja blend needs to be open a long time before consuming. Once it settles down, it is a great wine. So complex and rich. Definite fruity Grenache notes mix with deep Tempranillo. A great wine. — 3 years ago
Beautiful light brick, really opened up in the glass — 2 months ago
Aging a little quickly, not much fruit left, but lots of interesting earthy notes and great concentration. — 3 months ago
Guessed this as a 2018 white burg. A successful blind by all accounts! Ripe, lush Chardy fruit (even a touch of pineapples) and excellent quality oak, all wrapped in a lively, saline package. Deceptively light at the start, but air does bring out quite a bit of texture and power. For me, certainly a wine of its soil (white clay on limestone) and vintage, once revealed. Delicious, although I did find it a tad heavy at the end of the night. — 2 years ago

I took this bottle from my cellar to a friend who just received his complete allocation of 2022 Wendouree. We obviously compared this 2011 Shiraz Mataro with the latest 2022. If this exercise proved one thing that was that any cuvée of Wendouree should not be opened at under 10 years of age. The 2011 had a gorgeous nose of blackberry, liquorice and spice…..intoxicating! Whereas the 2022 was as tight as a drum…giving very little. The palate was fluid and smooth with those same aromatics coming through on the palate with that amazing old vine opulence and persistence. I had my first bottle back in August 2022. Notes are here on Delectable. — 2 days ago
