Itata Tierra Antigua
A Los Viñateros Bravos Canto a Lo Divino Itata Cinsault

2014. Chilean cinsault. Smoke and earth and tart red fruit. Light tannins, super fine. Acid backbone. Love the 12.8% abv. Next time remind me: no potatoes, leave extra room for tasty, interesting wine.

Just as gorgeous as the first time I had this, and yes I drank the whole bottle again. Kinda like a great mid-level Bandol.

Delicious, soft, earthy, funky, light-to-medium bodied, some fruit (blackberry?), some minerality.

Surprising! Cinsault from chile. Like a slightly buffed up old worlder, but not as much as geography might suggest. Elegant and cool.

Watery. No finish. Served chilled, maybe that was the problem
