One of my all-time favorites- from my neighbor winery nonetheless! Go Hoffman Lane! Earthy, bold, and tasty- and as crazy as it sounds, you can actually taste the eucalyptus trees growing right next to the vineyard (which sounds weird, but it's delicious)

Decanted for 5 hours Friday and didn't much care for it. Revisited Saturday and liked it. By Sunday night it was singing! Heft and graphite but also a little lighter eucalyptus/ Herb streak that was so interesting. I love JF wines but find that all of them need a ton of time to open up.
