Really nice example of a St Helena Napa cab. The 2008 was maybe a smidge past its prime but still very nice structure and enough funk to make it interesting.

This one took is on a journey from alcohol heavy in the beginning to Bologna and fruity and ending smooth as silk. Had it at Mr Parkers in Palm Springs ... No corkage! Went well with the Kobe short ribs and a Sirloin. Wine was better than the food by a mile.

Eloquent, powerful, and ripe fragrance of fruit. Beautiful currant smell. Nice and smooth taste with deep structure and sweetness. Oak touch is also very pleasant.
