Beautiful wine. Raspberry, and sweet red fruits, not overly ripe though, and the tannins are perfect. Great balance. Very different from the prototype Aussie.

2012 vintage. Enjoyed April 7 at Betony NY. So, so good. I see why they call this "Syrah" vs. "Shiraz". Northern Rhone all the way. Bacon, smoke, plum. Restrained, elegant, balanced. Beautiful with pig's head.
