Raspberry and Violet notes. Fresh and tangy. Raspberry also on palate with medium intensity. Soft tannins with a short but enjoyable future. A natural wine using indigenous yeasts, whole bunch and preservative free. Dare I say "hipster ". These wines are delicious now with no point in cellaring.

Feb 8th, 2017Pale Ruby. Fresh primary and juicy like just crushed Grape juice. A very hand made wine from James Erskine made in small volumes. Notes of raspberry, violets, stewed plums and earth - an old worldly note of grandmas cupboard. Low acid and low powdery fine tannins. A joy to drink - particularly on warm days at lunch. Drink now. Delicious and a different take on 100% Grenache.

Sep 4th, 2016They say "what grows together goes together," but that's oversimplified BS. I'll be darned if this wasn't perfect with a kangaroo burger though. At 14% alcohol it isn't a lightweight like many of the new Australia wines, but its freshness and bright fruit keep it charming without getting goopy.
