In the zone. Nose of bright and sour cherry, spice, cherry syrup. Ethereal and rich. Mesmerizing. Elite as usual. Really showing well at almost 8. Palate is so juicy and clean. Bursting with ripe cherries and powdery tannins. Sneaky persistence. Fruit really is pure. Amazing energy. Always masterful.

Love this wine! Tart cherry, with earthy undertones and a hint of corruption. Great length and generosity.

2013 Foillard Cote du Py
magnum bottle 5/30/20

Served slightly chilled with grilled chicken. Still young and fresh from the 1.5ml. Sour cherry and cranberry fruit. Some brett but not very funky. Heavily reduced. High acidity like most of the 13’s. Very happy with how this bottle performed. This is one of the greatest examples of a natural wine.

Always a thought-provoking and exciting wine. Reductiveness and a touch of Brett give way to layers of sour cherry fruit, depth and concentration. Wonderful with a few more years bottle age I expect.

Not pictured but still delicious. Funk, bright, crisp and some nice ripe fruit. At DBGB NYC

The Master of Morgon. Simple yet complex, a real treat every, single time.
