Lacking the ripeness and power of the 14, but still has a lot of aromatic and textural intrigue

Not as classy as other Foillard bottles. 14% abv but actually bit racier than cote du py due to higher altitude site with lifted aromatics consisting of darker fruited notes than most bojo. Elevated va here for sure. Almost towards the jammy brooding side but with some elegance and finesse still. Not to my stylistic taste but a high quality bottle.

bit of funk--in a not-great, mousy kind of way--but it blew off. Took a while to open, but open it did, to reveal all the charms you've come to expect.
