Jean Foillard
Eponym' Les Charmes Morgon Gamay
Lacking the ripeness and power of the 14, but still has a lot of aromatic and textural intrigue

Dec 10th, 2016Not as classy as other Foillard bottles. 14% abv but actually bit racier than cote du py due to higher altitude site with lifted aromatics consisting of darker fruited notes than most bojo. Elevated va here for sure. Almost towards the jammy brooding side but with some elegance and finesse still. Not to my stylistic taste but a high quality bottle.
