Semi-spicy like French toast (sans powdered sugar) spread with fruit compote. A cold opening with a broad middle and lingering finish. Opens up nicely. A welcome contrast to that blonde yesterday with the hot opening, broad backside, and cold finish. She was closed off with time. This wine, gets better with it.

Nice Cotes de Rhone that I picked up at Costco. I taste more earth then fruit which for me is typical of this type of wine. Low acidity and tannins. Overall a good wine that I would pick up again!

Southern Rhone. Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache, Mourvedre. Raspberry, strawberry aromas. Spicy with hint of cinnamon and nutmeg.
