Thematically similar to their du Clos offering with more meaty depth and obvious, but appropriate oak influence. A bit tannic on the finish, but some residual acid and notions of fruit to keep it in check.

Has developed well but is still so bad. Give it 5 more years and at this price it is going to be hard to beat.

South Western France Malbec from Cahors with medium intensity of black cherry, vanilla, plus some chocolate and dried fruit. Palate gives some cloves flavour -- this is high in tannins but they are not quite rounded yet and could take some more ageing. #wsetschool
