Top wine from GG vineyard - best wine in tasting. Highly pronounced showing concentrated stone fruits, maybe some pineapple too. Also has honeyed tertiary flavours and also a little petrol. Outstanding wine that will get better with age. #wsetschool — 9 years ago
Amber coloured 5 puttonyos Aszu Tokaji from well know Oremus. Pronounced primary, secondary and tertiary aromas developed after 10 years with some earthiness, citrus peel, toasty notes and oxidation from the oak, but also demonstrating honey, dried fruit like apricot and marmalade. Sweet with well balanced high acidity. A very long finish. #wsetschool — 9 years ago
Pronounced Alsace Riesling with 8 years bottle aging. Powerful petrol nose and some developing honeyed notes. Lots of stone fruit and citrus flavour still. High acidity and medium (+) body. A long finish revealing a lot of grapefruit on the palate. #wsetschool — 9 years ago
Medium dry and low acidity golden Gewurtztraminer from the Alsace with lychees and ripe banana notes, orange peel and floral rose. Some tertiary notes too, with obvious marmalade and honey. Pronounced on the palate with an equal long finish. #wsetschool — 9 years ago
Herbal and floral Spatlese Riesling. Pronounced with some apple and stone fruit flavour. Balanced high acidity with medium (+) length. A style I like very much. #wsetschool — 9 years ago
Nice Gruner Veltliner from Wachau, not the best example I've had. Very citrusy with a strong lemon and grapefruit flavour and leafy herbaceous notes. Comes to life a bit more on the palate with some stone fruit and dried fruit character. #wsetschool — 9 years ago

#wsetschool Light and youthful Valpolicella that seems underripe with its vegetal, green pepper and red cherry notes. Signs here of carbonic maceration with a false bubblegum scent. Simple wine with high acidity, but low tannins and light body - a bit more red fruit of strawberry and raspberry on the palate but it lacks a finish. — 9 years ago
