Stewed fruits and fig with a pleasant hint of bakings spices on the medium/long finish. It is well balanced with smooth medium tannins which don't dominate the pallate, which make this a wine that doesn't necessarily need a food pairing. Finally it's worth noting that this wine noticeablely improved after decanting (and was even better day two)! [9/6/2016]
