Jul 28th, 2023One of my favorites from La Paulée’s “low cost” Off the Grid tasting. Cru Beaujolais by Jean Paul Thevenet, one of the four members of the “Gang of Four”. Gamay from 70-100 years old vines. Aged for 6-8 months in old barrels. Perfumed nose, aromas of red fruit. Structured, serious wine.
