Noticeable muddle and funk that showed ungainly on first pass. This dissipated with time but the fruit never made much of an appearance. This could have had a slight flaw.

Seems like the wine crew must have been repeatedly checking the “soundness” of the two Burgs during the evening, because by the time the last red flight came to the table for dinner pours, both were half empty. Because of that, only took about a half ounce pour of each so they would make it around the table. Both seemed excellent.

this was the star wine of the holidays for me.. showing beautiful truffle ,underripe cranberry, and lavender notes . Long finished lingered and tannins were supple
