The vintage that never sleeps. Always so open and giving, 2017 is Grands Ech is superb even in its youth, with scintillating intensity and richness, exceptional detail and focus and a long saline-mineral inflicted finale. Stunning vintage for this wine, one of my favorite bottlings from Drouhin, and surely to be even more impressive with additional time in bottle.
