Blended from three vineyards: See, Reese and one name I forget but it is located on the Silverado Trail just above Three Palms. 12.9 alcohol, yes that's correct; a wine of both power and grace. This wine was poured @ the 25 year retrospective for JPV. Great color, graphite black cherry/currant aromas with a sweet tannin construct that IMO is a real terrior driver for Napa Valley. 40 years old and going strong if on the back side of the curve.

its actually 74 insignia from mag enjoyed from Walter Schug's cellar. second time we've tried in six months, the wine is spot on and still lively.
