On the nose; sweet, sour & tart fruits of; dark cherries, cherries, strawberries, raspberries, hints of blue fruits and pomegranate. Dry crushed rocks and dark soils. On the palate, the fruits are lean, muted or in a sleepy stage early on. Plums, dark cherries, cherries, strawberries and raspberries and blue fruits paint the background. Nice spices that lift in intensity as it set on the palate. Crushed dry rocks, loamy soils, dry red flowers, red & pink roses with high acidity. The finish is long, fresh and delicious. Photos of the giant JP corkscrew and separate private rooms used for more complete tasting and or dining experiences.

Ripe light and dark cherries. Cherries are fresh & ripe and sour. Pomegranate, sweet rhubarb, cranberries juice, beautiful soft limestone/volcanic minerality, light backing spices and nice bright fruit finish. Minerality is near perfect. Pairing of the day with the strawberry shortcake. Just about to be released.

A well structured, deeper, darker pinot of freestone. Definite tannin present, lots of juicy ripe red fruits as well. Small lingering flavors of herbs and some black tea as well.

Delicate nose of red and black cherry, raspberry, red tea leaf, forest floor, and hint of violet. Smooth seamless palate with soft tannins. However, the fruit seems to be a bit tired which is surprising to me.

Very good still, and I hope to have better luck with the remaining bottles.

Tip toes between new world and old world. Fruit of the new and a Burgundian funk of the old.

Sweet red fruits, especially cherry, and spice. Softens and loses some of the spice as it opens up.
