Deep purple with a wide rim and cherry red undertones. Really nice nose of dark fruits, cinnamon, and some floral accents. It’s so much fun tasting a 100% PS that’s also varietally correct. Medium bodied but still possessing power, there’s a nice level of refinement here. On the palate there’s stewed plums, blackberries, smoked cloves, and mushrooms. Long finish with herbs. Will be even more interesting in a few more years.
