First Blauburgunder from Alto Adige. Dried cranberries, red plum, black raspberry, dusty earth, pretty firm tannic structure. Firmly in the Old World, but more rustic than examples from France or Germany. Moderate tannins and fuller bodied than most Pinot Noir. Tasty and interesting!

Very smooth and more full-bodied than most Pinots. Would definitely have this one again.
