Not a special bottle by any means, but in the world of Marlborough styles of Sauvignon Blanc, it's pretty balanced for a $10 wine. The acid isn't too intense, classic with its fresh grapefruit and citrus zest notes on the nose and pallet, with underlying mineral, grassy, and pineapple to the finish. The wine is star bright and crystal clear, and light. It makes a fantastic good pairing wine for goat cheese, coconut curry, and other spicy foods you tend to find in Texas, but it also just makes a great refreshing glass of white on a hot day. Can't always drink a $100 wine every day, right? ;)
