Color of saturated purple and ruby. Nose of cherry, dried strawberry and fresh cranberry, vanilla, spice, oak, and tobacco leaves. Nose is quite decent. Taste is quite sweet, from dried strawberries and cherry, mixed with oaky note, marginal tannins, a bit bitter, juicy strawberry, and quite clean and smooth. Aftertaste is following the taste with a bit touch of mineral. Quite above average.

Dark cherry and plum with a bit of chocolate, cigar box and spice in the finish. As noted by others, decant or wait for day two to enjoy this wine at its best. Excellent Merlot for the dough!
