Another surprise value of $17 that shouldn't be a surprise anymore. Complex nose with black berries and hints of liquorice, mint and vanilla. Attack of fruit but balanced by acid though oak is there. Needs to breath longer. Decanted to check in another day or two. Cab Merlot Syrah and Sangiovese! Does indeed have a lively and long finish. Better next couple days but note as much improvement as the NAPA Cabs. Not as much structure and complexity after being opened that long.
