Black raspberry, licorice, and cola... Finishes hot, rather ripe even for Cali Pinot. Reminds me I prefer higher acid and less alcohol.

Overall it is drinking well. Needs to decant for 30-45. Still another 5-7 years left in it.

I find it ripe, but not hot and very expressive. Very satisfying!

2012 not silky as the 2011 but still very impressive. A definite favorite when we can get it.
