Surprisingly good for what I had expected out of German Pinot Noir. Earthy, mushrooms on the nose, good red fruits on the palate, and a decent finish. Reminded me of a Cote de Beaune Red Burgundy. Imported by Louis / Dressner, which helped to explain the funk and earthiness. Enjoyed with a pork shank with lentils and root vegetables.
